Social Media Campaign - 2018 - Director / Editor
These four shorts were part of a social media campaign by the Roar Connections for Life charity. The campaign was to connect older people and break down stereotypes that they live with on a daily basis. The key theme of bringing people together and keep active is prevalent throughout their work and the messages in these animated shorts were just as powerful.
This was a really interesting project to work as the film ideas were put together by myself but the production of the campaign videos were created during workshops I delivered to elderly participants. In three workshops, the paper cut out animation was created by elder group of participants under direction and assistance while teaching brand new animation skills. Once the paper cut out was complete it was then put together and edited fit for release on social media sites and online.
